BPT-OIC has been “Unlocking the Doors of Opportunities” in greater Bridgeport and the surrounding towns for over 20 years. BPT-OIC plays a vital role in the struggle for economic justice and provides free job training, job placement and skills development services.

National Information

Opportunities Industrialization Centers of America, Inc. (OICA) is a network of comprehensive vocational employment and training programs across the nation. From the beginning in an abandoned Philadelphia jailhouse in 1964, OICA has served millions of disadvantaged and underskilled Americans of all races.

Local Information

There are 5 job training centers located in the State of Connecticut and 32 affiliates in 19 countries worldwide. Driven by the power of partnership, OIC is a collaborative effort of business, government and the community.
